A gourmet meal for steak and wine lovers\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>You can no longer access Steak Saturday deals at Morrisons (Picture: Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A Morrisons spokesperson said: ‘Our Fish Friday and Steak Saturday offers were really popular with our customers, however from listening to their feedback, they wanted value all week long. <\/p>\n<p>‘Due to this, we have expanded our offers across steak and fish by including 125 lines within our 3 for \u00a310 offer.’<\/p>\n<p>This means shoppers will have more flexibility and choice when shopping – and even more so, there will be plenty of other deals on offer in addition to the 3 for \u00a310 throughout the month. <\/p>\n<p>One of which includes saving a third off the price of Market Street Silverside Joint between Monday, May 12 and Sunday, May 18.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"421\" src=\"https:\/\/alaskanativeowned.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/GettyImages-465207786.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-23094593\" alt=\"Inside A Morrisons Supermarket Ahead Of Preliminary Results\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Fish Friday has also been ditched (Picture: Bloomberg via Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Unfortunately, some shoppers aren’t pleased with the change which came as a bit of a surprise to them. <\/p>\n<p>John Porteous wrote on Facebook: ‘You have finished with 20% off the fish Friday and steak Saturday, not happy.’ <\/p>\n<p>He added that he is ‘most annoyed’ about the removal of member card deals, as he replied to Robert Tatton, who called out Morrisons for making the change so ‘quietly’.<\/p>\n<p>Penny Barlow asked where the weekly promotion had gone, with another user pointing out it had seemingly ‘vanished’.<\/p>\n<p>And Alison Slevin also weighed in, writing on Facebook: ‘Morrisons bring back Steak Saturdays much better deal!!’<\/p>\n<section class=\"metro-comment-cta\">\n<div class=\"metro-comment-cta__inner\"><span class=\"metro-comment-cta__text-wrap\"><title>Comment now<\/title><span class=\"metro-comment-cta__text\">What’s your take on Morrisons’ changes to their loyalty card offer?<\/span><\/span><a class=\"metro-comment-cta__button\" href=\"#metro-comments-container\">Comment Now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>However, some were thrilled with the new 3 for \u00a310 offerings, including True Dream, who wrote on the Facebook page: ‘That’s a fantastic deal and perfect for a barbecue!’<\/p>\n<p>‘Great prices!’ added Dharmeshta Mistry.<\/p>\n<p>The loyalty card changes come just one month after the supermarket<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/17\/full-list-morrisons-stores-closed-immediate-effect-22924045\/\"> chain closed 16 stores <\/a>as part of a major shake up, with another branch in Yorkshire closing its doors yesterday. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/25\/full-list-store-closures-may-2025-poundland-morrisons-whsmith-22973444\/\">The cuts aren’t over yet,<\/a> and there are plans to shut all 52 of the Morrisons in-store caf\u00e9s, as well as 18 market kitchens, 70 meat and fish counters,13 florists and four pharmacies.<\/p>\n<p>Morrison\u2019s CEO Rami Baiti\u00e9h, said changes were needed to \u2018renew and reinvigorate\u2019 the chain, because running services were costing more than what was being made from customer spending.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Do you have a story to share?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Get in touch by emailing <a href=\"mailto:MetroLifestyleTeam@Metro.co.uk\">MetroLifestyleTeam@Metro.co.uk<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Morrisons has made a change to its More Card deals (Picture: Getty Images) Listen to article Listen to article Your browser does not support the audio element.
